Important note: Due to Rift Rivals happening and OPL being on break, these rankings were handed in and locked as of last Sunday, 1st of July before the tournament started.
Our panel this split consists of Snowball’s own Andrew Wray, Reece Perry, Callum Matthews and Swifty. New for power rankings this split is the Community slot. These are made up of our community panel’s individual personal power rankings, averaged together.

Dire Wolves slide into first place for me, first on the ladder and yet to drop a series, fairly self explanatory.
Tectonic are controversially in second place, their previous three weeks have been ORDER 2-0, Dire Wolves 0-2, Chiefs 2-0. While they did lose to Avant in week 1, the recency of taking out what most people would consider title contenders puts them at 2nd. They should be considered a threat to the competition.
Chiefs have their first loss and as a result have the first set of chinks in their armour, a team I personally had at the top of the rankings for so long. After losing to Tectonic, I’ve been left wondering how they’ll fare against ORDER and Dire Wolves. Perhaps not as dominant as I first thought? Week 5 should straighten out my doubts.
ORDER had a hard fought win over MAMMOTH, they’re recovering from their shaky start of the season. Expected losses for legacy and MAMMOTH keep them where they are, while a win over Avant have given Bombers a move up the rankings.

DW solidify themselves as first after a great victory over Legacy. Chiefs over Tectonic might look weird given the weekend’s results but one win doesn’t surpass the entirety of the Chiefs’ season. These two are now very close, however.
ORDER edge Legacy for the next spot despite having very similar wins (BMR/MMM and AV/MMM) and a very similar loss (TTC and CHF) due largely to how strong they looked against DW respectively. Otherwise I think these teams have looked pretty equal in strength.
I have MAMMOTH has the 6th best team, and Bombers just behind them but it will be interesting to see how each of these teams approach cross-group play. MAMMOTH need to convert some of these game wins into match wins to keep getting the benefit of the doubt here as they’ve dropped three on the bounce. AV, alas, rounds up the rear. I can’t explain what happened last week, they just laid a massive egg. Hopefully we see them rebound strongly with a couple of weeks to fix things.

Another week, another upset.
Tectonic is turning the OPL on its head. Surprising many coming out the gate 2-2, with arguably the toughest schedule – and doing so with substitutes. Despite 2-0ing CHF, it is not quite enough for me to put them in second place just yet. Tectonic are definitely proving themselves a threat in the OPL, despite all the substitutions and inconsistency it will be very interesting to see how far Value can push them once he is finally able to make his debut.
Moving further down the ladder, despite being placed in 7th in the OPL Rankings, in my power rankings I have Legacy in 5th, having both taken close wins over MMM and BMR but also due to strength of schedule having faced both CHF and DW. They’re in a close contest with MAMMOTH for 5th place.

This current top 4 for me is as tight as it gets, with the Wolves having a slight edge over the rest. Tectonic continue to prove to all that the OPL is indeed not ready for Trance, taking down the Chiefs in a surprise 2-0.
ORDER continue to look like the dominant team from Split 1, and the Dire Wolves seem to be back to business as usual. The Bombers with their win over Avant have now made it off the bottom of my rankings for the first time since the preview week.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Chiefs and Tectonic this week are tied for 2nd.
