It is my pleasure to formally announce Snowball Esports will be attending IEM Sydney 2019.
We will have a team on the ground covering all the action from Qudos Bank Arena in both the CS:GO and Overwatch Contenders tournaments.
There’s an extensive lead-in content schedule heading your way starting very soon with everything from features and previews to interviews and even some handy survival guides if you’re heading to Sydney.
Starting tomorrow, there will be a new Overwatch Top 5 every day leading up to the Contenders Australia 2019 Season 1 Semi-Finals on Saturday. This special run of episodes will be looking back at the entire season’s plays.
Recently, our Snowball family has grown a little as well, we’ve added two new writers to the team in William “willy2k” Egerton & Ash “Shhlee” Whyte. These guys both hail from Queensland and we’re super excited to be able to add them to our CS:GO arsenal.
Snowball’s CS:GO Content Lead Reece “Ties” Perry is “excited to get on the ground and bring the stories of a premier event like IEM Sydney to CS:GO fans around the world.”
“The players and talent are the best in the world and our team are going to work just as hard to bring the feeling of this excellent event to everyone who can’t make it here to celebrate it with us.”
We can’t wait to get to Sydney and start work on bringing you the best stories from Australia’s biggest esports event of the year.
